The marble figurine represents a seated harpist at the moment of playing. He sits on a particularly elaborate throne. He rests on his right thigh a musical instrument of triangular construction, interpreted as a harp or lyre. The face is turned to the sky. The nose is the only plastic feature of the face. It is kept in good condition. Parts of both arms are missing from the elbow, and it consists of reassembled fragments.
